The first written mention of the Czech Třebová is from 1278. The predecessor of the settlement on the right bank of the river Třebovka Romanesque rotunda. Catherine built in the first half of the 13th century (first mention of it, however, from the year 1335). As the city is a settlement named for the first time in 1292. In those days it belonged to Lanšperská estate. The deed of donation of Wenceslas II. the town was given in 1304 to the Zbraslav monastery. In these times, the Czech Třebové develops guilds weaving, pottery and more. In the pre-Hussite times, the city belonged to the bishops of Litomyšl, but the Hussite period, the town opted to Jan Hus.
