From the vague outlines of its origins, the Romanesque-Gothic Zbiroh Castle emerges at the end of the 12th century as the oldest Czech aristocratic residence. The original castle part is still dominated by the oldest detached watch tower in the Czech Republic. Zbiroh acquired its present-day appearance at the end of the 16th century in the possession of Emperor Rudolf II. Habsburg Castle offers its visitors, guests and clients first class service within the gastronomic services.
