Location description
Pec pod Sněžkou, it is mainly about winter and skiing. The resort is in the middle of the biggest skiareal in Czech republic, which is named Skiresort ´Černá hora´. Pec consists of 41 km of slopes in total. You can find more information about the skiresort here. Skiing will never be boring again. Every day you can ski in different ski areas.
In the morning you can start on a slope named Zahrádky Express in Pec, continuing in the afternoon at brand new slope of Hofffmanky in Jánské Lázně, and in the evening try the longest illuminated ski slope in Janské Lázně or one of the widest illuminated slopes in the Czech Republic, Javor in Pec. It\’s up to you. Everything calmly on one skipass. You won\’t find anything else like that elsewhere. For children you will find training meadows with children\’s lifts in Pec. There are several ski schools and your children will learn to ski safely and will have lots of fun.
The cable cars and ski lifts in Pec are also the starting points of a wide range of cross-country ski tours. And it does not matter if it is just a light training circuit or a challenging all day tour. Everybody finds their own favourite thing. But we cannot limit our activities in Pec only to winter. Even in the summer you will find here lots of fun. Pec is the center of a network of hiking trails. You can still discover new unknown corners of the Krkonoš. For your summer trips you can use the cable cars. There are many of them. Very important was the construction of a new cable car to Sněžka. The new cable car attracts much more visitors now than in the past. Other cable cars with summer operation include the cable car to the Hnědý vrch, the cable car Portášky in Velká Úpa or the cable car to Černá hora in Janské lázně. And it doesn\’t have to be just hiking trails.
Cycling has become more and more popular lately, and you will meet a large number of cyclists on different routes around Pec. In Pec pod Sněžkou there is also a golf course in a nearby Mladé Buky. From spring to autumn you will play here in the beautiful surroundings. In conjunction with a golf simulator in our apartment house, there are ideal conditions for your hobby. Skiing in the winter and golfing for the rest of the year is a very popular combination that attracts a lot of people. In Pec you can spend the whole day in the Relax Park. There is also a bobsleigh track, which is in operation in winter too, a rope park, where you can put your courage to the test and many other attractions. Not only you would enjoy it here, but also your whole family, and would always like to visit us again.
