The Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev boasts more than one century of history.
The hotel was opened in 1906 with the participation of the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Francis Joseph I. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was one of the most modern hotels in Central Europe and to this day it is a valuable example of floral Art Nouveau architecture. In 2016, a very sensitive reconstruction was completed, which restored the original appearance to some interiors.
117 rooms, 2 restaurants, 4 conference spaces with a capacity of up to 440 participants and wellness offers guests more than a tasteful combination of tradition and 21st century in a **** hotel.

Location description

With its 105,000 inhabitants, Liberec is the fifth largest city in the Czech Republic. The history of Liberec is dated back to the end of the 13th century. Only until later (16th century) it began to grow its economic, political and cultural significance, and gradually became the natural center of the region, which it is to this day.

Thanks to its location – surrounded by the Jizera Mountains, it offers not only urban activities, but also a wide range of sports and outdoor fun.

From the Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev situated on the edge of the historic city center, which is literally just around the corner, you can comfortably reach all the main sights such as the famous opulent Neo-Renaissance town hall, but also the journey to the Mount Ještěd does not take too much time. Clarion Grandhotel Zlatý Lev offers several types of the rooms.
All of the rooms are equipped not only with the comfortable bed, but also with writing desk, wardrobe, Tea & Coffee facilities, minibar fridge, safe and fen.
Majority of the rooms is air conditioned.

Superior Room: size of 14-21 m2.

Deluxe Room: size of 26-35 m2 , additionally equipped with sofa bed (single)

Junior Suite: size of 40m2 divided to two separated rooms – bedroom & living room equipped withs sofa bed (double).

Ještěd Suite: 50m2 again split to two separated rooms. Living room is equipped with sofa bed and table for 6 persons. This apartment is situated in historical building tower which offers the view to Mount Ještěd during the good weather.

President Suite – 70m2- Art Nouveau styled representative apartment. Separated bedroom, large living room, small kitchen and balcony. The living part is suitable not just to enjoy delicious breakfast, but also it can hold meeting with friend or business partners.
