Hotel Ebersbach is a four and a half star hotel, which offers its clients a stylish late renaissance atmosphere mainly thanks to the sensitively renovated interiors. The guests will be transported back to ancient times, when the house belonged to the famous alchemist Antonín Michael of Ebersbach, but with the fact that they have all the comforts of today. The scarlet-colored hotel building is like a sanctuary that protects you throughout your stay and provides a warm hug before letting you discover all the other cultural and historical jewels of Český Krumlov. The hotel has 29 rooms located on three floors. On the mezzanine floor there is a private wellness area with a Finnish sauna, a hot tub and a beautiful marble fireplace.

On the first floor there is a gallery and a relaxing terrace Rosarium Philosophorum with numerous plants, garden furniture and parasols, where couples in love or families with children can relax especially in the summer months and play board games, or read or just have a light conversation.

On the ground floor of the hotel there is a restaurant and a lounge. Both rooms are equipped with their own functional fireplace and currently serve primarily as a breakfast area, or as a meeting place for various guests or members of tourist groups with guides. The lounge is also a space that can be conveniently and quickly transformed into a meeting room suitable for corporate events and training.

The Hotel Ebersbach is close to all the main sights of the city, making it an ideal place to stay in Český Krumlov.

Location description

Hotel Ebersbach is located in the historical center of Český Krumlov and the facade of the house is dominant in Široká Street. The rear part of the house is adjacent to the main city wall in Hradební Street and is part of it. The result of a demanding reconstruction are various types of rooms and apartments. The structure of the house allows for different views from the rooms of the city’s landmarks, including a view of Krumlov Castle or the view under the Baroque Theater. Rooms have marble bathrooms and heated floors. Varied variants of bathrooms from very spacious with windows to classic types of standard dimensions have mostly bathtubs, currency showers, all in a modern design.

The past and the present are combined in the interiors of the Hotel Ebersbach.

The rooms are named after historical figures who were associated with the High Renaissance (so-called Mannerism) or with Český Krumlov or the alchemists of the time. Hotel Ebersbach offers a free continental breakfast, wi-fi and concierge services. At the reception there is a functional Lobby bar, where our guests can order and enjoy alcoholic or soft drinks. In addition, guests who choose Signature suite rooms have access to a private wellness area. Timing of reservations is provided at the hotel reception.

Wellness is located on the mezzanine floor above the hotel reception. It offers a room with a whirlpool for two people where you can set up your own playback on your “smart” phone via bluetooth and you can indulge in listening to only your favorite music recordings stored on your mobile phone during a water massage. You can choose color variations and several massage programs. Bathrobes and hotel shoes are provided in the guests of the Signature suite rooms directly in their room.

In the second separate room is a Finnish sauna with a bio program with a maximum capacity of 4 people. There is a shower right next to the sauna. For sports lovers, you can watch sports broadcasts directly from the sauna on the LG screen. If you want to listen to pleasant music, we will be happy to provide you with a music recording in the quiet zone by the sauna. Our offer of drinks is available.

Guests staying in other room types can book a private spa at an additional cost. Reservations at reception are necessary due to the limited capacity of the wellness.
