Location description

The town of Sobotka is called the southern gate of the Bohemian Paradise. It lies 70 km northeast of Prague, between Mladá Boleslav and Jičín. Above the town is a unique hunting lodge Humprecht from the 17th Century, which is a national cultural monument. From Sobotka, hiking trails lead to Kost Castle, Trosky Castle, Staré Hrady Castle or the Plakánek Valley.
